Raw salmon can contain a fluke parasite that causes salmon poisoning disease which can be fatal in dogs within 2 weeks if untreated.

Warning Signs & Symptoms

Vomiting, diarrhea, high fever, swollen lymph nodes, lethargy, dehydration, death if untreated.

Call vet immediately — salmon poisoning disease can be fatal within 2 weeks without treatment. Do not wait for symptoms.
