Can Dogs Eat Oreos? No — Contains Cocoa

This food is NOT safe for dogs. Keep it away from your pet.

Oreos are not safe for dogs. They contain cocoa powder and high sugar. While not as concentrated as dark chocolate they still contain theobromine.

Warning Signs & Symptoms

Theobromine from cocoa: vomiting, diarrhea, elevated heart rate, muscle tremors with large amounts.

If Your Dog Ate This

Monitor for chocolate toxicity symptoms. Call vet if large amounts consumed especially for small dogs.

What You Need to Know
