What You Need to Know

Classic Lays original chips are high in sodium and fat but do not contain garlic or onion powder — they are primarily a sodium and fat concern. However flavored Lays including Sour Cream and Onion BBQ and most other flavors contain Allium ingredients making them additionally toxic. A few Classic Lays chips fallen on the floor are not an emergency. A dog that regularly accesses flavored Lays or eats significant amounts warrants monitoring.
