What You Need to Know

Naproxen is an NSAID with a very long half-life in dogs meaning it stays in the system far longer than in humans causing prolonged toxicity. A single 220mg tablet can be lethal to a dog under 10kg. Dogs have no safe dose of naproxen. Keep all Aleve and naproxen products completely away from dogs.

Breed-Specific Notes

All dogs at risk — small dogs face lethal doses from a single tablet.
